Master of Information System (MIS) has the goal to produce national level leader in the field of IT with responsibility in supporting sustainable development business based IT. The specialty of the graduation is able as an information consultant and IS Auditor either in business or government field. Other competency of MIS program is becoming enterprise architect, project manager, Chief Information Officer, Chief Executive Officer and IT Service Manager. The curriculum is based on ISACA Certification such as Information System Auditor (CISA), Risk and Information System (CRISC), Information Security Manager (CISM) and Enterprise Governance (CGEIT). Some Standard compliance are taught such as ISO/IEC 27001 for Information security, ISO 9001 for Quality Management System, ISO/IEC for 38500 for IT Governance. The Curriculum also involve some IT Framework such as COBIT, TOGAF, Zachman Framework.
The MIS Program has two interest majors. They are Enterprise Architect and IS Auditor. Enterprise Architect has a role in designing and developing IT Resource; making feasibility study and requirement analysis; preparing smooth change management.
The IS Auditor has ability in auditing information system using the proper method to find useful evidence with good ethics; making some appropriate Analysis such as Business Impact Analysis and Risk Analysis to promote business sustainability program.
Research
Our research includes cutting-edge work on IT Governance, IT Framework, IT Security, IT Project Management, IT Asset and Investment and IT Evaluation using COBIT and Balanced Scored Card. There are two leading major given as specility they are Enterprises Information System and Business Information System. Enterprise Information System is group of interest courses which teaches the core component of IT Enterprise like Enterprise Architecture Planning, Enterprise model (e.g. Togaf, Zahman, Calder Moir, Malcom Baldrige), risk management, IT Governance and Auditing. Business Information System is a group of interest courses which teaches the extended component of IT Enterprise when pervasively involved in Business area. Some of courses In this interest courses are business intelligent system, Customer Relationship Management, E-Business and Entrepreneurship, Project Management.
Our impressive external research funding stands at over Rp
1,128 Million. We participate in a number of Indonesian initiatives and
undertake project under contract to many outside bodies, including government
and industrial organization. For
example, Dr. Yusrilla Y. Kerlloza in collaboration with other partner has been
awarded Rp 860 million (about $88,000) from PT Sinar Sosro Fund to develop Tea Seller
Robot in 2013. Dr. Yeffry Handoko in collaboration with his
Roket Division has been awarded Rp 130
million to lead innovation research in rocket payload (2013), Rp 100 million in
developing E-media, the B2B application fo Small Medium Enterprise in Bandung Region (2014-2016). MSI team lead by Dr. Yeffry Handoko granted Rp 250 million in developing validating Immigration System (2017).
